Service Description

Open to youth players from U9 to U12 age groups, our new programme will focus on a mixture of technical practices that will enhance players confidence on the ball as well as different game based scenarios to further broaden each players knowledge and understanding of the game through guided discovery. With that in mind sessions will include: - Ball mastery - learning to manipulate the balls using different parts of both feet including, dribbling, turning and skill based topics. - 1v1 scenarios - exposed to defending & attacking, escaping against other players by wriggling, twisting and turning away from defenders and stealing the ball from attackers by poking, stealing and forcing mistakes. - Striking skills - learning to use different parts of the foot to strike the ball in finishing and long distance passing scenarios. - Overloads and underloads (att/def) - understand when to stay on the ball or combine with team-mates to create attacks and keep possession or defend by delaying, pressing or disrupting the play. - Receiving skills - learning to use both feet in different ways to space pressure. SSG - e.g 3v3/5v5 scenarios to challenge decision making The sessions are coached in a safe and fun environment that will challenge the players at the appropriate level, aiding their continual development within our programme. We will aim to create some fixtures in terms 2 & 3 of the season against internal and external teams. Sessions will take place every Wednesday during term time, beginning on September 11th, from 5pm - 6pm at Meadowbank Stadium, Mill Lane, Dorking, RH4-1DX. Bookings are priced at £40 per month, to attend the three sessions in the month of September (11th, 18th, 25th), please book via the link below before Friday September 9th: Following attendance at the first session, attendance at subsequent sessions must be booked via direct debit, details of this will be confirmed in due course.
